Job Description

• Operate and maintain heat treat equipment for aluminum, titanium, nickel-based alloys, stainless, and alloy steels.
• Follow heat treat schedules to ensure proper sequencing.
• Assist with batching loads for optimal productivity.
• Set thermal couples and prepare loads for uniform heat distribution.
• Unload furnaces and perform hardness testing using calibrated equipment.
• Conduct furnace accuracy and uniformity surveys.
• Interpret hardness ratings using measuring tools and standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized workstation while following company policies and procedures.

Skills & Knowledge

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Forklift certification to OSHA standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
