PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst (DALP) – Level 1 for a position in San Antonio, TX.
Position Summary
The San Antonio E‑4B Team is seeking a highly driven Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support data optimization and operational performance. In this role, you will gather, interpret, and integrate data from multiple sources, partner with cross‑functional teams, and help drive solutions that enhance overall site efficiency.
This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently once objectives are understood.
Position Responsibilities
Build and combine data sources to create data extracts supporting analytics and research activities.
Maintain and improve process efficiency using process methods, tools, standards, guidelines, and metric consultation.
Interpret, analyze, and integrate internal/external data to provide solutions, recommendations, and meaningful insights.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and leadership to support constraint resolution.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across various teams, functions, and leadership levels.
Analyze and support sitewide analytics and metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Work independently with minimal oversight once objectives are established.
Provide feedback on assessment results, identifying improvement opportunities and potential risks.
Model and drive accountability within the team.
Coordinate workforce approvals, deviations, and changes.
Work across organizational levels to implement strategies and plans.
Drive collaboration across diverse teams and levels of leadership.
Foster a proactive, fast‑paced problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement mindset.
Build trust with business partners, peers, and leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts, filters, linked worksheets).
1+ years of data analysis experience, including making recommendations based on findings.
Experience in a fast‑paced team environment requiring strong communication skills and interaction with leadership and internal/external customers.
1+ years of experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
1+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
Experience implementing strategies and plans under general direction.
Experience developing and implementing process improvements.
Proficiency with data analysis tools/software including Excel, SQL, or statistical tools.
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking on flat surfaces.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
