PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a MP&P Technical Analyst 5, in Tukwila, WA. Job ID#215812

Pay Rate: $68 - $73/hr

Job Description:

• Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

Required Skills:
• 20+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
• 20+ years working in aerospace in-service support with ultrasonics testing (UT) and/or eddy current(ET).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures

Preferred Skills:
• 25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
• 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
• Experience with CAD Software

Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
