Job Description:
• Survey, plan, develop, design, configure, and test multi-classification AV solutions for government customers. Generate custom audiovisual system designs, including DSP layouts and systems configuration.
• Lead or attend customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements. Research, identify, and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.
• Draft system engineering documentation, including signal flows, line diagrams, bills of materials, rack elevations, and cable plants.
• Support onsite installation of AV systems and lead system configuration phases. Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.
• Support the development of end-user training materials and operations & maintenance plans.
• Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.
• Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training, certifications, and review of trade publications.
This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance , for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) with active/current counterintelligence poly
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years of related work experience for level 3.
• 5+ years of related work experience for level 4.
• Must be able to travel to various job sites as needed.
• AV systems field installation experience.
• This position is for first shift but may require occasional compensated, ad hoc support after hours.
• An adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Associate degree or higher.
• AVIXA CTScertification.
• DSP platform (Biamp, QSC, etc.) experience.
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, and Thinklogical systems.
An adjudicated Full Scope Polygraph.
Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
