About the Role

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations with a focus on processing garnishments, child support orders, and other court-ordered deductions. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The position begins on a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday). Alternative work schedules may be available after the initial training period.

Key Responsibilities

Process and set up garnishments, child support orders, and other court-ordered deductions.
Ensure accurate and timely remittance of payments.
Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries and jurisdictional correspondence.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with HR and payroll team members to resolve issues and ensure payroll accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong SAP experience (must have).
Experience processing and setting up garnishments and other court-ordered payroll documents.
High level of attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Work Schedule

Initial schedule: Four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday)
Alternative schedule options may be available after training.
