PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer, Kent, WA. Job ID#217015 

Pay Rate: $88.00- 110.00

**US Citizenship is required. **
**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. **

Responsibilities:
  • Leads code generation for highly embedded systems
  • Leads development of a broad, open-architecture approach
  • Works with a multi-disciplinary team to rapidly prototype hardware solutions
  • Responsible for developing code and ensuring proper execution on target processors
  • Independently performs work scope

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years embedded programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Linux, and/or PetaLinux
  • Experience with hardware-software integration
  • Embedded C++ is the top skill

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with and knowledge of aerospace systems and/or electrical systems
  • Experience with CMake
  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of executing as part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team
