PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrician 3 to support the testing, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of complex electronic and electrical systems in a fast‑paced aviation MRO environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate precision test equipment (oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and automated/custom test equipment)
Troubleshoot and test electronic repair units
Align and adjust advanced electronic components using established calibration procedures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Follow written procedures while using hand tools and measuring devices
Utilize SAP and other MRO computer systems
Participate on project teams and support continuous improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively with technicians, engineering, and leadership
Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in a safety‑sensitive environment
✅ Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent 2‑year post‑secondary training)
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Electronics background with 2+ years of related work experience in manufacturing or service environments
Electronics maintenance industry experience or education
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
AAS degree in Electronics and/or prior military experience
2+ years experience with aviation electronic equipment repair or manufacturing
Experience reviewing CMM and Service Bulletin (SB) documentation
Strong testing and troubleshooting expertise
