About the Role

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Service Center Coordinator to support its Western Region Maintenance Center in Lakewood, CA. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily operations by coordinating shipping/receiving, administrative support, and customer interactions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics
  • Perform domestic and international shipping/receiving of equipment, including tracking and logging
  • Manage work tickets using internal systems to create and update task records
  • Coordinate with shipping vendors and service providers
  • Track inventory using Costpoint and assist with annual inventory audits
  • Procure materials, parts, and equipment as needed
  • Coordinate repairs and calibrations with external vendors
Administrative & Office Support
  • Support front office operations, including greeting visitors and answering phones
  • Process invoices and bills for payment
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation
  • Maintain project files (electronic and hard copy)
  • Use MS Excel and PowerPoint to organize and present data
Coordination & Reporting
  • Assist management in tracking tasks and ensuring accurate cost documentation for billing
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with shipping and receiving operations (required)
  • Inventory/supply tracking experience (required)
  • Supply inventory experience (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (required)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills for routine and non-routine issues
