About the Opportunity

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to support a variety of HR functions in Stratford, CT. This role is ideal for candidates with administrative experience who enjoy working with confidential information, supporting employees, and contributing to a fast-paced human resources environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of general personnel and clerical duties within Human Resources.
  • Maintain both manual and automated personnel records.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze sensitive and confidential personnel data.
  • Prepare reports and personnel-related documentation.
  • Provide information to authorized individuals and agencies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist employees at all levels with questions regarding personnel policies and procedures.
  • Support HR activities in areas such as:
    • Employee records management
    • Benefits administration
    • Education and training programs
    • Employment processes
    • Compensation programs
    • Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 2-4 years of administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to meet deadlines. - 2-4 years of experience 
  • Ability to work independently. - 2-4 years of experience
