Job Description:
In search of a Cable and Harness Technician to Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
Responsibilities of Cable and Harness Technician 2:
Maintaining the Lab space including 5's and tool control.
Assembling and building Cable harness
Supporting development engineering activities such as design, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronic systems.
Conducting routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and developmental engineering tasks.
Performing operational tests to ensure conformance with design specifications.
Diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to the component level.
Conducting engineering tests and collecting data.
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
Basic Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 2:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of additional education and/or related experience The role involves moderate physical effort, repetitive tasks, and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50lb
Ability read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics
Must be able to obtain DOD Secret level clearance, and the ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 2:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience Technical Degree or some college.
Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly, electronics testing, and electronics evaluation.
