Job Description:
Performs ROUTINE production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
Technical/Software Skills needed:
-Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd).
-Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications, in English
-Apply sealant to surface per specifications.
-Install various aircraft system components such as panel installs.
-Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).
-Experience using chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes
-Able to work in confined space and receive associated training and certification
-Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds
-Perform Bond and ground measurements
-Perform in-tank sealing in fuel tank and other structural work
-Perform wash of the fuel tank
-Adhere to high standards of Safety and Compliance to regulation.
Requirements/Years of experience/Etc.
-6 months or more experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.
-6 months or more experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
-6 months or more experience in an advanced manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and/or pneumatic (air) tools.
-6 months or more experience with application of chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes.

-Able to work in confined space and receive associated training and certification
-Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds
-Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd).
-Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).
Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
